Entries and exits where other gates cannot be used due
to lack of space. Often gates are installed in connection
with barriers. The gate serves as mechanical security
and the barriers insure singular vehicle access. The lift
gate combines both functions in one product. It opens
within 6 seconds for vehicle access. Through the stable
construction of the gate wing a maximum of mechanical
security is guaranteed.
Construction
The simplest and probably lowest-priced drive mechanism
is muscle power. Therefore lift gates are available for
manual use. More comfortably however is an electromechanical
drive, consisting of drive and control. Three drive packages
are available. The basic equipment is the so-called "dead
man drive". The automatic drive consists of two engines
and the safety package. This package ensures automated
gate operation with radio remote control. The comfort
package with frequency-regulated drives and safety device
enables the gate to open in 6 seconds. Further components
such as intercom, card reader, telephone interface and
many more top off the drive concept of the respective
gate to perfectly meet customers' desire.
Security
concept
The lift gate offers highest possible security for vehicles
and persons. Light barrier, safety strips and induction
loops prevent a collision of persons or vehicles with
the gate. A multi-redundant security concept, consisting
of belt drives and mechanical brakes, prevents the unprecedented
shut down of the gate body. An electronic query also prevents
people riding the gate.
